Vital Stats: My name is Tom, I’m 17 years old, and I am a cable wakeboarder riding at Cables Wake Park in Penrith! I’ve been riding for around 4 years and IN 2016 I will travel to America to compete.

Your biggest accomplishment in your sport: Out of all the competitions I’ve placed in, nothing has felt more like an accomplishment, than being one of the first wakeboarders to land the stale front side 360 backside 360 rewind!

Describe your views on health and nutrition and what role this plays in your life/sport: Health and nutrition has always been a major priority in my life. For wakeboarding, it is always good to pre-load with carbohydrates, and then finish the wakeboard session with a protein shake for all tissue recovery.

Who/what inspires you? Many riders inspire me, from all around the world! However, one of my best mates, Aaron Gunn has to be my wakeboard idol. What inspires me the most though, is the fact that anything is possible, on and off the board.

PROTEIN INTAKE: 190 grams of protein a day.
